Andrew Mehrtens

About this book

By combining original interviews with those from the archives, the author tells the Andrew Mehrtens story. Those closest to him, coaches and teammates included, all contribute to paint a picture of one of All Black rugby's greatest characters. And, of course, accounts of his exploits in the red and black jerseys of Canterbury and the Crusaders form part of this tale of how Mehrtens overcame the odds to get his happy ending.
