Øystein Aasan

About this book

"'Never ending Memory' is primarily structured by and focusing on Øystein Aasan's archive/sculpture of the same name. The archive includes all notes, ideas and various references that the artist has conceived and gathered during roughly 15 years of work. It never leaves the artist's studio and is continuously worked with and expanded. The book 'Never ending Memory' intermingles sequences of artworks and exhibition-views with plates from the archive. Rather than a narrative or chronological presentation of the artist's work, this book makes apparent the numerous relationships between notes found in the archive, with finished works and exhibitions."--Publisher's website.
