About this book

"This volume brings us closer to the more ancient books that existed in Mesoamerica, the codices. From the earliest examples of ancient codices from tombs in the Mayan area to the indigenous pictorial documents of the early 18th-century, we go on a tour through its images to the knowledge of these guardians of memory, which guard in their beauty and complexity a fundamental part of the history of our country" (HKB Translation) --Verso cover.
