This is a monograph on one of the most influential architectural practices to have emerged in Britain in the last two decades of the 20th century. Following their victory in their very first competition - the Mound redevelopment in Edinburgh - Allies & Morrison has gone on to design many admired projects, including the British embassy in Dublin, the University of Cambridge Sidgwick campus and the BBC White City scheme.
