About this book

Officer Delta Stevens has her hands full! An assassin is after District Attorney Alexandria Pendleton and an international jewel thief is plaguing Delta's beat. If that wasn't enough, Delta and Connie discover that this brazen thief is attracted to more than just jewelry. As Delta and Connie unravel the few clues behind the assassination attempt on Alexandria, the jewel thief is leaving Delta deliberate clues. The thief—who scales high-rise buildings, steals carefully selected pieces of jewelry, and then purposely sets off alarms—is a woman. Moreover, she's doing everything she can to steal Delta's heart. With two cases in full swing, Delta finds herself juggling a vast array of emotions. With her lover out of the country and two other women wanting her attention, Delta must finally confront the truth about both her relationship and her career. —Back cover
