The Oxford movement

About this book

"The Oxford Movement is a celebrated and long out-of-print history of one of the most important movements within the Anglican communion during the nineteenth century. R. W. Church, a participant in the events he describes and one of the great Victorian men of letters, mingles autobiographical reminiscence with retrospective historical analysis. The entire text and original notes as Church left them are reprinted here with an introduction by Geoffrey Best." -- Back cover.
