8vo. f. [1] (blank), pp. 112 (pp. 110-111 called 96-93), f. [1] (blank). Straight-grain morocco. Gilt on boards, spine, edges. Includes headpieces. Bound by C. Smith. The Perry–Heber–Britwell–George Thorn-Drury–John Brett-Smith copy, one of three known; without the engraved portrait of Christian Raue or Ravis, fictitiously relabelled as Bold, which is found in the other two (British Library [lacking two leaves of text], and Harvard); cf. Plagiarism by Bold (or his publisher) from Herrick and Thomas Beedome, so flagrant as to be considered forgery. See D.
