Eighth issue of a periodical by the Regional Cultural Association of Brugg (1819-29), featuring a text by Johann Melchir Schuler entitled “Geschichte der Häuser Lenzburg und Habsburg bis auf Kaiser Rudolf I,” which has a frontispiece engraving by Heinrich Meyer from Zürich. The 1821 issue, with a text by Johann Melchior Schuler, is entitled “Vindonissa; oder, Helvetien unter den Römern” and deals with the story of Julia Alpinula, a humanist hoax based on a fabricated epitaph by Paulus Merula.
