Boreisis. “Bushnell” penciled on title page. The present work is a reprint of the 1842 Cambridge edition, edited by C.B. Willcox, with some additions. This volume includes the first printing of the forged ‘Last Verses Written by Chatterton’ (p. cxxvi), provided to the credulous editor Francis James Child by John Ross Dix, who was by then residing in the US and who claimed he had received them from Joseph Cottle.
