Hayhurst and label and inscription of R.W. Hunt (1908-79, Oxford scholar and librarian), who bought the work in 1932. First published in 1680, this is the Delphine edition of Dictys Cretensis, edited by Anne Dacier (1647-1720), the great French female classical scholar.
