A legacy for generations

About this book

"Herman Meinders founded American Floral Services in Oklahoma in 1970. When he sold the company, his name was the most recognized in the world of floral marketing. This is the story of a Minnesota farm boy with an unequaled work ethic who ended up in Oklahoma City by chance and entered the floral business in the most unusual way. He reported for his first floral job with 20 cents in his pocket, a flat tire, and no jack. The rags-to-riches story is both humorous and unforgettable. For more than four decades, Herman and his wife, LaDonna, have donated more than $150 million to worthy projects and life-changing causes. It is impossible to count the lives that have been changed because of their giving hearts, nor the lives that will continue to be changed for the generations that follow"--
