"This thesis proposes a compendium of cooperative care strategies from the body to the body politic for public works and landscape architecture. Operating within the City of Philadelphia, Take Care calls upon the city's deep historical relationships to sanitation, wellness, and public works to propose the adoption of a standard of care for the city. Moments of attention and thoughtfulness are incorporated into daily routines, which challenge the notion of what it means to maintain while recognizing the need for chance, flexibility, and purposeful experimentation.
