La miel de los cuatro vientos

About this book

*La leyenda de la Fanesca* is a poetic Ecuadorian legend that transforms one of the country’s most emblematic traditions into a story of memory, identity and belonging. A girl travels across Ecuador to gather the gifts of its different regions and discovers that the true meaning of fanesca lies beyond its ingredients: it is a symbolic act of bringing together people, territories, generations and memories. Blending myth, Andean-inspired imagery and cultural storytelling, the book presents food as a language through which a country remembers who it is.
