A fairy tale for children describing the "Prinzessinnenhauses", a playhouse built by Joseph Maria Olbrich in 1902 for Princess Elisabeth von Hessen-Darmstadt in the park of Schloss Wolfsgarten. The story was written by Elisabeth's governess the year after the princess's death at the age of 8 in November 1903.
