by D. H. Lawrence, Elkin Mathews & Marrot, Robert MacLehose & Company

About this book

Rawdon is a rather strange man who, despite having a wife and a mistress, often tells his friends, "No woman shall sleep again under my roof!" The mystery deepens when his mistress drops by, not wanting to stay with her husband that night, and begs for shelter. What will Rawdon do?
