The outer archives are busy
Stories, many of them funny, though the topics are always serious, about the lives of immigrants in Toronto in the (primarily but not exclusively Caribbean) diaspora. Though written in Jamaican Patwa or Patwa-inflected English, they can be understood by any English speaker and are suitable for older adolescents. The author says many of them are experiments in discovering how far dialogue alone can take a story.
