About this book

If you're a Web developer, you probably already know Hypertext Markup Language. But if that's all you know and you want to create truly innovative Web pages, you need to know about the hottest new trends in Web publishing: scripting languages that work in conjunction with HTML to create dynamic and interactive Web pages. Microsoft and Netscape have developed two different scripting languages - VBScript and JavaScript - and to be a real Webmaster you'll need to master both. In this book, best-selling author Peter Aitken takes you on a complete tour of both languages, starting from the beginning and moving you through a variety of intermediate and advanced topics.
