About this book

It's a good thing that Princeton University doesn't maintain files on undergraduates it deems worthy of keeping an eye on, the way the FBI of J. Edgar Hoover kept extensive, often ridiculously detailed, dossiers on various possible subversives, malcontents, perverts, critics, anarchists, media darlings, hippies, flag burners, liberals, and other social misfits, not to mention civil rights activists, socialists, and Communists.
