A Touch of Forever

About this book

An engraved locket and a recurring nightmare about a silver-handled dagger are Lexie Anderson's only link to her forgotten childhood. Alone in the world at 24, Lexie's research for her doctoral thesis brings her to a secret passageway leading from Wyndham Abbey to the sea. Suddenly she is pitched back through time... At first she cannot credit what has happened to her. Everything is the same... but somehow different. People seem to be in costume, light is provided by lanterns and candles, and Wyndham Abbey— where she is taken—is devoid of modern conveniences. And the Earl of Wyndham is not the aging aristocrat she has met, but a kill, rugged, vital man, who is clearly taken aback by her fantastic story, her unorthodox manners, and her disconcerting approach to the relationship between men and women. Swept into a crucial moment in history and into the arms of a man like no other she has ever known, Lexie has embarked on a magnificent adventure beyond her wildest dreams, a love so passionate that not even time can keep them apart.
