Winterfire

About this book

THE COWBOY AND THE LADY Hers was the face that had launched million-dollar ad campaigns, the smile that lit the covers of popular fashion magazines. But New York model Ashley Tierney was tired of the superficial life before the camera's lens. She looked forward to a relaxing Christmas vacation in Idaho, baking cookies and sharing old stories with her college roommate and confidante, Joanne Kleeman. Ashley got more excitement than she bargained for when her rented car broke down on a snowy country road. With no other choice, she ended up accepting a ride from J.D. McCullough, Joanne's neighbor and childhood friend. This dark, handsome rancher was the wild west cowboy Ashley's friends had warned her about. J.D. McCullough was a man who understood the way love should be--slow, steady, and complete. The magic of the Idaho winter wouldn't last for-ever. Ashley knew she would have to return to the glitzy world she'd left behind. But for now, she had to cherish J.D.'s warm, capable hands, his blazing black eyes, and his kisses heated with all the passion to light a winter fire.
