Miranda Irving and Joseph Wallace have it all figured out. If she doesn't have a baby before the millennium, the Irving trust, set up at the turn of the century by her great-great-grandmother, will expire. And that means the much-loved family farm will be sold. If he doesn't produce an heir soon, his father, who already hounds him unmercifully about family duty and responsibility, will drive him to complete distraction.
