this is perhaps the most sentimental of all the books written by Mr Coles Finch but reflecting i would suggest a deep and genuine affection for the North Kent countryside that he had known since the earliest days of his childhood. this book has some interesting photographs of the ancient Delce Manor barn that stood on Delce Road, Rochester, Kent prior to its destruction during the 1920s.
