After working for the past three years on the two-and-a-half-hour documentary on Malcolm X, televised nationally on PBS's "The American Experience," (and now on home video) what became even clearer for those of us who worked on the production was the valuable lessons which Malcolm's life offers young people, and particularly African American youth.
