The Lydeard Beauty

About this book

Sooner or later Susan supposed she'd marry. The idea of falling in love had never occurred to her--until she met the elegant and wealthy Lord John. Even then she did not think it possible that he would be interested in her, since he was paying such lavish attention to her extraordinarily beautiful mother. Susan was quite smashing in her own right, but she always felt she could never compete with Mama. Then a brash young spendthrift came into her life--and very nearly ruined it.
