Chappelli Laughs Again

About this book

In Chappelli Laughs Again, Ian Chappell and Austin Robertson present a brand new selection of hilarious cricket stories, wickedly highlighted by internationally-famed cartoonist, Paul Rigby. The great game of cricket has, across continents, yielded a wonderful variety of characters. Chappelli Laughs Again introduces you to these characters -- on the pitch, in the dressing room, on tour and in the commentary box. The laconic humour of Dougie Walters and Ashley Mallett, with its particularly Australian flavour; the understated irony of John Arlottand the earthy wit of Freddie Trueman; and finally the unwitting hilarity produced by player and spectator alike ? all combine to create a unique celebration of the lighter side of cricket.
