It contains over 70 black and white photographs of the landscape from across the county, from famous iconic landmarks to lesser known or hidden places. Tim Hawkins reveals Dorset to be an area of great contrasts with its fascinating variety of landforms from its World Heritage coastline to the vales and scarps inland. Accompanying the images,the text explains why a particular frame was chosen from an Iron Age fort to a dash across the county chasing the light.
