Wolf Girls at Vassar

About this book

"Vassar graduates describe the delights and terrors of discovering they are lesbian or gay in one of the most beautiful and impressive college settings in America. From the 1930s and '40s, when silence reigned about homosexuality, through the repressive '50s and 60s, to the openness of the last decades, lesbian and gay graduates speak of the long struggle to be themselves despite parents, peers, and societal pressures."--Amazon.
