About this book

Def Leppard have stayed together through all the disasters that have occurred. They lost their first guitarist to alcoholism. Next, their drummer lost his arm in a car crash, and took four years to learn how to play one-handedly. Then guitarist Steve Clarke died of a drink and drug overdose in 1991, after which the group kept a low profile. Def Leppard reappeared at the Freddie Mercury concert at Wembley, gleaned a multi-platinum CD in "Adrenalize" and finished their 1994 tour with a huge open air show at the Don Valley Stadium in their home town of Sheffield. Biographize traces Def Leppard`s story from their formation in the late 1970`s to their current status as a best-selling band.
